ND9 is an independent design practice based in Beeston, Nottinghamshire. It exists because good businesses deserve thoughtful design without needing a large agency around it.
Understanding comes first
We don’t start with software.
Websites matter. Logos matter. Print still matters. But none of them come first. Every project begins by understanding the business, the audience and the decision the work needs to support.
My background covers more than a decade of pre-press and print production alongside graphic design and web development. It has made me practical about the work: files need to reproduce properly, websites need to load quickly and the person using the finished result needs to understand it.
You deal with me throughout the project. I ask questions, explain the reasoning and keep the process direct, whether the job is a WordPress website, a brand identity or one important piece of printed communication.
The internal standard
Think well. Make well. Explain well.
That is the internal standard behind the work. Understand the problem, make the solution with care and explain the decisions clearly. The aim is a result that feels right for the business and remains useful after the project has finished.
