ProCore Diamond Drilling provides specialist drilling and cutting services for commercial, industrial and domestic projects. The business needed a website that felt as professional as the work itself and made a technical range of services easier for potential customers to navigate.
The challenge
The previous website had useful information, but the structure did not make the strongest parts of the business easy to see. Service content competed for attention, project experience was difficult to explore and the overall presentation no longer reflected the company ProCore had become.
The new site needed to work for very different visitors. A contractor may already know the exact drilling method required, while a domestic customer may only know the result they are trying to achieve. Both need to find the right information and reach an enquiry point without unnecessary steps.
Planning the service structure
The content was organised around clear service categories, with each page given a defined purpose. This created a more useful route from the main navigation into the detail, while keeping related services close enough for visitors who were still comparing options.
Calls to action were placed where somebody was likely to have enough context to act. The aim was not to repeat “get a quote” after every sentence, but to make the next step visible whenever it became relevant.
A custom WordPress theme
The site was built as a custom WordPress theme so the front end could stay focused and the business could still manage key content. Reusable templates keep the service and project pages consistent, while the admin area gives ProCore a practical way to add new work and update information.
- Responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Clear service templates with consistent headings and enquiry routes.
- A project portfolio that can grow with the business.
- Lightweight front-end code without a heavy visual builder.
- Accessible navigation, readable typography and properly structured content.
Designing for credibility
The visual approach uses strong typography, generous spacing and project imagery to give the business a more established presence. Technical information is still available, but it is broken into clearer sections so the page remains approachable rather than becoming a wall of trade language.
Consistency was important. The same visual rules now carry through services, projects and contact points, helping the whole website feel like one considered system.
The result
The finished website gives ProCore a clearer platform for presenting its services and experience. Visitors can understand the scope of the business more quickly, explore relevant work and move into an enquiry with less friction.
Just as importantly, the WordPress setup gives the company room to keep improving the site rather than treating launch as the end of the project.
